Here is my entry for Visible Image’s August challenge “anything goes”.
The background for this card was made using Brusho Colours, just sprinkle on and mist with water and wait for the magic to happen.
When dry I stamped and heat embossed vision incognito from Visible Image. I matted onto mirrorboard ,with a very skinny boarder and then onto black. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion True Colours by Sheena Douglas, I love this stamp cant help but think of the Cindi Lauper song, 1986 really !!!! how long ago LOL.
Here is my entry for this weeks colorthrowdown challenge such a lovely combination of colours.
The flower and leaf stamps are all from Inky Doodles. I stamped the individual flowers, masking where necessary to stamp the leaves. After colouring I matted onto some green card from Docrafts Papermania Capsule assorted colossal colours , a brilliant card pack as you get different shades of each colour. I stamped a band of leaves matted onto the same green card attached to top of the card and stamped the sentiment either side of the band.
Jake Skates is such a great stamp set from Visible Image, I love the details of this image and as always the quality of Visible Image stamps mean they all stamp beautifully. To make this card I used the texture stamp from the set to create the back ground ,randomly stamping the image in ripe perssimon distress ink around the edge of an 8 x 8 card blank. I repeat stamped the Brick Wall (also from Visible Image ) onto another piece of card cutting “a hole in the wall”. This then acts as a guide so you can stamp Jake in the right place. I stamped and coloured Jake and added a little colour around him them attached my brick wall using foam tape to add a little dimension. The “awesome dude” stamp is also from Jake Skates set the HappyBirthday was a printed sentiment I made in word. I hope you like this card, I think it makes a fab card for a teenage boy.
Today we had visiters, one of my best friends and her two lovely boys Charlie and Toby.
So todays post is Toby’s birthday card.I stamped and coloured PiratesAhoy from Crafters Companions. I used salty ocean and antique linen to add just a little colour to the background and matted onto some blue card. I stamped Toby onto the same blue card using Joy! Crafts Scrabble stamps, cut out and matted onto the lovely fresh green card. Using a blank kraft card and more of the green card, which came from Spring Drops from First Edition I put the elements together and stamped Happy Birthday.
I made this summertime campervan for the Carley Duff Cameo Challenge…….
