A busy weekend with school open day and final practise for Isabelle’s first ballet exam on Saturday and then the exam on Sunday, we did find time for a little crafting though 🙂
So we had a go at Tim Holtz’s 12 tags 2015 , I hope you like our tags.
Although we followed the same basic idea we used different masks and stamps, at 6 Isabelle has her own ideas on what she likes and fairies are high on the list !! I think she’s done a fab job especially as this was her first go using texture paste. For more details on how to make a tag like this check out Tim Holtz blog . Here are some close up of the details from our tags.
I absolutely love this collection , such beautiful papers
I used my Silhouette to cut out the card blank and the paper to match. I used sizzix tattered flowers die to cut the flowers, I layered them up and added Candi that I had added Glossy Accents to. I fussy cut the flowers in the centre from one of the papers from the collection and used foam pads to mount it on a frame I had die cut from some black card. The “with love ” “happy birthday” and “wonderful friend” and the pink bow are all from the kit , all die cut ready to go. A little bit of Stickles and all done , I hope you like it . Find ” Chalkboard ” here
I coloured using distressed inks and a blending tool. The two panels were matted onto black then silver mirrorcard and then onto black. The sentiments I used are from Crafters Companion Sentiments and Scribbled Sentiments from Phill Martin, both were stamped and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. A bow, black gem and a little glitter spray complete this card. I hope you like it.
I am entering this in sisters of craft “anything goes” challenge.
